What makes their story worth preserving?

This is the most important part. Write naturally—we are looking for meaning, not polished writing.

Has their story been recorded or interviewed before? · required

Think about the life they lived, what they remember, what changed around them, or what younger generations could learn.

Can you help us connect with them? · required
Do they know you are nominating them? optional
Do they appear to need financial support? optional This does not decide whether their story is selected. Choose “Not sure” if you do not know.
Please avoid sharing unnecessary private medical, financial or identifying details about the elder. The team only needs enough information to understand the nomination and plan respectful contact.
Step 3 of 3

Submitting a nomination does not guarantee an interview or visit. Katha Hijo Ko can review each nomination based on story fit, consent, access, safety and available project capacity.
